The 15th Annual Art of Speed Malaysia (AOS 2026) returned on Aug 1 to 2, 2026, transforming the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS), into a massive weekend celebration of Kustom Kulture, music, and custom automotive lifestyle.
Bringing an expanded “Summer Festival” concept, AOS 2026 united thousands of local and regional enthusiasts alongside prominent international icons, including Wataru Kato from Liberty Walk, Emi Suganuma from MOONEYES Japan, and Hawgholic’s Yokomizo Gaku, to name a few.
Rare Custom Builds & Best of Show
AOS 2026 showcased world-class custom motorcycles and automobiles from across Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Key motorcycle highlights included a rare 1945 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead by Hawgholic and a 1966 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead from Vise Clothing.
In the competitive categories, Shaun Jonathan Pinto claimed the Best of Show Automobile award with a 1957 356 Speedster Replica, earning an all-expenses-paid trip to represent Malaysia at the 34th Annual MOONEYES Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2026 in Japan.
The Best of Show Motorcycle award went to Thailand’s The Bangkok Boys, while builder Mujo Joros swept the Art of Speed Invitational Bike Build-Off, taking both the Overall Jury Winner and Public Choice Winner titles with a custom GPX Gentleman 200.
4th Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia
Diecast collectors gathered in Hall C for the 4th Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia (HWCCM), where the event hosted Hot Wheels Premium Lead Product Designer Ronald Wong as a special guest and debuted the official HWCCM 2026 Exclusive Custom Nissan Skyline GT-R V·Spec II (BNR34).
To go with this release, the Malaysia Skyline Owners Group (MSOG) organised a dedicated display of real-life Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, ranging from R32 to R35-gen models.
Giving Back to Visitors
Through the AOS 2026 Kembara Passport challenge, visitors walked away with over RM80,000 worth of prizes, with lucky winners bagging grand prizes, including a custom Thunder Motorcycles 250 and a specially modified Honda HR-V MK1 Japan Edition.
“The international support we have received is a reflection of what Art of Speed has built over the years—not just as an event, but as a platform that connects builders, brands, artists, and enthusiasts from around the world. As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to celebrate creativity, support our local community, and showcase Malaysia as a leading destination for Kustom Kulture in the region,” said Asep Ahmad Iskandar, AOS 2026 festival director.
