Atlantis Automobili, a subsidiary company of local automotive firm Atlantis Motor Group, has been appointed as the new official importer and distributor of Maserati in Malaysia, effective from May 19, 2026.
This appointment follows the discontinuation of Naza Automotive Group as the previous local custodian of this famed Italian marque, with said termination taking place sometime in December last year.
First Maserati Outlet at TREC KL
According to its official statement, Atlantis Automobili will be assuming full responsibility for Maserati’s operations in Malaysia, including sales, aftersales, customer experience, brand development, as well as network operations.
As of now, the company currently operates two interim physical locations in Malaysia, including a sales and service located at TREC RS-G-02, Rhapsody Square, TREC 438, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur—sharing its doors with another Stellantis brand under the Atlantis Motor Group’s portfolio, Alfa Romeo.
The second location is a dedicated aftersales facility located at 30, Jalan Pengacara U1/48, Kawasan Perindustrian Temasya, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor, and existing Maserati owners can continue to receive aftersales support and get in touch for enquiries and updates.

Commenting on this appointment, Atlantis Automobili executive director Datuk Douglas Cheng Heng Lee said, “As we begin this exciting new chapter for Maserati in Malaysia, our foremost commitment is to our customers and owners.
“Maserati is a brand built on heritage, craftsmanship, and passion, and we fully recognise the responsibility that comes with representing such an iconic marque. Our immediate focus is to ensure a seamless ownership experience while strengthening the foundations that support the brand in Malaysia for the long term,” he continued.
Strategic Investments & Enhancements Coming in the Future
Besides taking full custodianship of the famed trident marque, Atlantis Automobili is also preparing a series of strategic investments and enhancements to further strengthen Maserati’s presence in the market, with further details on new facilities, customer initiatives, and future developments to be announced in due course.
Prior to the discontinuation of previous custodianship, Maserati’s lineup in Malaysia comprises a series of both fully electric and pure combustion options, including the new Granturismo Folgore, the MC20 and MC20 Cielo duo, as well as both the Levante and Grecale SUV lineups.
