It has been a year and a half since the original Moda Sporter S maxi scooter debuted in Malaysia, and its local brand custodian AFY Mobility Industries (AMI) has decided to give this sporty maxi scooter an upgrade for 2026, now known as the 2026 Moda Sporter S SKII.
The updated Sporter S SKII is now available for purchase with a recommended retail price of RM17,998, making it merely RM110 more expensive than the previous version launched in 2025. As standard, said price is inclusive of a 2-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects, whichever comes first.
New Equipment, Refined Hardware
Not to be confused with a certain Japanese skincare brand, the SKII here simply refers to the facelift treatment given to the Sporter S, which includes some minor design changes and upgrades inspired by feedback from owners.
Starting with the visual changes, the new Sporter S SKII now rocks a pair of carbon fibre aerodynamic winglets located on the side of the front cowl, giving this sport scooter a more aggressive stance.
Complementing these carbon-fibre winglets are the new alloy racing side mirrors, high-luminance LED signals and DRLs, an electronic-adjustable windshield, a new front dashcam, and two colour options—Porsch White and Titan Blue.
On board, riders will be greeted with a new 7-inch TFT touchscreen display that supports Bluetooth connectivity and the interface for its new built-in front dashcam. Besides using it as a touchscreen, riders can also navigate through the menu using the revised multifunctional switch layout.

While most of its hardware remains the same as the previous version, the SKII does benefit from some fine-tuning. In response to the feedback from the original Sporter S owners, the rear suspension of the new SKII model has been revised to provide better road handling and comfort for both daily driving and long-distance commutes.
Same Power Plant as Before
Despite all these upgrades and changes, the new Sporter S SKII still uses the same powertrain setup as the previous version, in the form of a 244-cc single-cylinder four-stroke liquid-cooled engine rated at 24.8 hp @ 8,500 RPM and 22.5 Nm @ 6,500 RPM.
This quarter-litre mill is then mated to a CVT automatic transmission that drives the rear wheel via a final belt drive system.
Other mechanical parts are also unchanged for the SKII version, including the double floating front disc brakes, single rear disc brake, dual-channel ABS, inverted telescopic front forks, double adjustable rear shock absorbers, 13-litre fuel tank, 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels, and many more.
