Local riding gear and apparel distributor Hodaka Motoworld Sdn Bhd has introduced a new brand of helmets, YOHE, to the Malaysian market.
A total of four YOHE helmet models have arrived in Malaysia, with prices starting from RM319 for the YOHE 868-2, RM339 for the 886, RM439 for the modular P4, and RM1,199 for the carbon-fibre FG102SV.

For those who aren’t familiar with YOHE Helmets, this motorcycle helmet manufacturer was founded in Guangdong Province, China, back in 1993, where it has become one of the world’s largest helmet producers with an annual production capacity exceeding four million units.
The company features three production facilities spanning over one million square-feet, and its operation is vertically integrated, meaning that YOHE operates its own mould factory, EPS factory, visor production, and printing operations, allowing for rigorous quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
YOHE 868-2 – Entry-Level Double Visor Jet Helmet
First in YOHE Malaysia’s lineup is the 868-2, which is a jet-style helmet with a double visor setup that the company said is designed to “bridge the gap between open-face practicality and full-face protection.”
That is because unlike traditional jet-style helmets, the 868-2 features an oversized 2.2mm-thick visor that extends down to cover the entire face, which YOHE said helps to reduce aerodynamic drag and noise levels while shielding the rider from the elements. The internal drop-down sun visor can be operated via a lever on the left side of the helmet.
In terms of construction, the YOHE 868-2 is constructed from a primary ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) outer shell in two sizes—XS to M and XL to XXXL—plus a multi-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner. More importantly, the 868-2 meets the latest ECE R22.06 homologation standard in the ‘J’ (jet-type) category.
Comfort features include a fully removable and washable hypoallergenic interior, a double D-ring buckle for secure fastening, and integrated channels for Bluetooth intercom speakers.
The all-new YOHE 868-2 jet-style helmet is now available for purchase through authorised dealers, with prices starting from RM319 for solid colours (white and matte black) and RM339 for graphics (blue-red and black-green).
YOHE 886, P4, FG102SV Helmets Available Soon
Besides the 868-2, Hodaka Motoworld has also previewed three upcoming YOHE helmets that are set to be available in the near future, starting with the 886.
The 886 is also a jet-style double-visor helmet just like the 868-2, but YOHE said this particular model is developed specifically for our region and features an ‘Asian-fit’ sizing.
Speaking of which, the 886 is available in sizes from S to XXXL, and this helmet also meets the ECE R22.06 homologation standard in the ‘J’ category while being made of the same ABS outer layer and EPS liner as the 868-2.
The YOHE 886 helmet will be available for purchase soon, with prices starting from RM339 for solid colours and RM379 for graphic ones.
Next in line is the P4, which is a flip-up modular helmet with a double visor setup and ECE 22.06-certified for both the ‘J’ and ‘P’ (full-face) modes. It features an ABS outer shell with a Pinlock-ready outer visor and comes in sizes from S to XL.
Also available for purchase soon, the YOHE P4 will be retailing from RM439 for solid colours and RM479 for graphic options.
Last but not least is the FG102SV flip-up adventure helmet, which is the only model in YOHE’s lineup in Malaysia to feature a full 6K carbon fibre shell.
Also meeting the ECE R22.06 homologation standard in both the ‘J’ and ‘P’ modes, this full-carbon adventure helmet comes in sizes ranging from S to XXL and is set to go on sale in the near future at RM1,199 a piece.
