Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has introduced the new generation of its everyday sports performance tyre lineup, the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE005.
Entering its fifth generation, the RE005 is available from 15 to 20 inches with over 50 sizes available to cater to the wider types of cars ranging from sports performance models to daily drivers.
Better Dry & Wet Grip, Improved Stability
Compared to the previous RE004, the new Potenza Adrenalin RE005 features up to 8% improvements in dry grip, as well as 10% better wet grip, all thanks to its new block design that is wider to allow better distribution of pressure for stronger grip on the tarmac.
This integrated connecting blocks design also helps to optimise cornering stability for this tyre, giving more confidence to drivers when tackling sharp corners and accelerating out of the corner exit.
Also present on the REE05 are the unique A-shaped grooves that Bridgestone says can improve predictable handling, while its inside rib is now wider to help improve steering response.
To handle wet roads, the RE005 has a special rain pulse groove that helps drain water and lowers the risk of aquaplaning. The advanced rubber compound also enhances its wet performance by improving wet grip and providing better heat resistance.
15–20 Inches with Over 50 Sizes Available
As mentioned earlier, the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE005 is available in sizes ranging from 15 to 20 inches with over 50 sizes to cater to a wider range of cars, including performance cars, sporty sedans, and even EVs.
The new RE005 is now available for purchase at any authorised Bridgestone dealers nationwide, with their recommended retail prices ranging between RM315 and RM1,543.
