Local NEV marque PRO-NET continues to grow its local charging network with the expansion of its charging ecosystem across participating condominiums and high-rise residences nationwide.

With this expansion, Proton e.MAS owners who live in selected high-rise residences can enjoy exclusive charging rates as low as RM0.63 per kWh (until Dec 31, 2026) via the Proton e.MAS app, making home charging more affordable and convenient for high-rise dwellers.

PRO-NET Chargers Now Available at Selected Condos

According to PRO-NET, more than 500 condominiums and high-rise residences are currently participating in its vast charging network of more than 1,500 charging points across the nation, making it one of the most extensive EV charging ecosystems for urban living in Malaysia.

Coverage continues to expand across key regions, including the Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor, alongside additional locations in Sabah, Sarawak, and other major cities. This expansion provides affordable and convenient charging access for residents living in non-landed properties without access to personal home wall chargers.

To access condominium charging via the Proton e.MAS app, customers simply need to:

  • Open the Proton e.MAS app and access the Charging Map function
  • Select the preferred charging station in your residential area and choose the correct connector based on the physical label displayed on the charger
  • Complete the pre-authorisation process to begin the charging session
  • Start charging and manage the session conveniently through the app

Register Interests for Future Charging Infrastructure

More importantly, Proton e.MAS owners living in high-rise residences not only can check available charging locations but also register their interests for future charging infrastructure installation via the Proton e.MAS platform.

“As more Malaysians transition to sustainable mobility, it is important that electric vehicle charging solutions cater to different living environments, such as those in condominiums or high-rise residences. With charging rates starting from RM0.63/kWh and expanded access nationwide, we are making EV ownership more accessible, practical, and cost-efficient for everyday users,” said Mr. Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET.
