The 15th edition of Automechanika Kuala Lumpur (AMKL) kicks off today, taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Conventional Centre from May 14 to 16, 2026, with Deputy Minister of Transport (MOT) Datuk Haji Hasbi bin Habibollah officiating the launching ceremony earlier today.
For this year’s edition, this premier regional auto parts and OEM exhibition is drawing over 317 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, serving as a strategic platform where “the direction of mobility in Southeast Asia is being actively shaped.”
Over 317 Exhibitors from 16 Countries Under One Roof
With a theme of creating business synergies where automotive mobility solutions meet OEMs and the aftermarket, AMKL 2026 reflects a deliberate response to how the industry is evolving.
This year’s AMKL also marks a clear departure from transactional showcases towards integrated partnerships that span borders and sectors, and this transition comes at the most optimum time as Malaysia recently overtook Indonesia to become the ASEAN region’s leading automotive market.
Among key exhibitors present at AMKL 2026 include Brembo, Kovax, Schmaco, Vanli, Launch, TUHU Car Care, TecAlliance, and Leoch Battery, all located on the main show floor from Hall 1 to Hall 5 of the KL Convention Centre.

The main show floor is then complemented by the Automotive Mobility Solutions Conference, where industry leaders and policymakers will sit together to share their insights and mobility solutions in topics ranging from transition to EVs and autonomous vehicles to digitalised supply chains, sustainable manufacturing, and ESG compliance.
Beyond that, this conference also serves as a practical forum where businesses could access actionable knowledge on integrating technologies such as AI and IoT into their operations and forge cross-sector connections spanning regulation, finance, logistics, and research.

Dedicated Sector for Automotive Service Providers
Apart from the main show floor and the forum, AMKL 2026 also features a dedicated area called the Automotive Service Marketplace, where detailing specialists, body and paint shops, chain workshops, and e-commerce service providers are gathered under one roof.
This sector also includes the Collision Repair Training Workshop, where live demonstrations will be held for visitors to learn and spectate.

“Fifteen editions in, Automechanika Kuala Lumpur has evolved from a reflection of where the industry stands into a glimpse of where it is going. The conversations happening here—between global manufacturers, local players, policymakers, and emerging technology providers—are the ones that will define ASEAN’s mobility landscape for the decade ahead,” said Fiona Chiew, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., the organisers of Automechanika Kuala Lumpur.
To recap, the Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2026 is taking place from May 14 to 16 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. You can learn more about AMKL by visiting their official website.
