Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd (BSH), the official distributor of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia, has expanded its local product lineup by launching its latest scooter model today, the new 2026 Honda Vario 125 Street.
Two colour schemes are available for this new 125-cc scooter—White and Purple—with prices starting from RM7,468 excluding road tax and insurance, but inclusive of a standard 2-year or 20,000 km manufacturer’s warranty.
Same 24.9-cc Engine with Minor Mechanical Upgrades.
Compared to the previous Vario 125, the new Vario 125 Street gets some mechanical upgrades, which include a redesigned swingarm that Honda says is 10% lighter, while the L-cover and duct for the engine are now 11% lighter.

As for its powertrain, the Vario 125 Street still uses the same 124.9-cc single-cylinder liquid–cooled petrol engine with Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology, capable of producing 11.5 PS (8.5 kW) and 11.9 Nm.
Power goes through the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and belt drive, and said engine is also certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) with a three-star Malaysia Motorcycle Assessment Program (MyMAP) rating.

Other key mechanical bits include a Combined Braking System (CBS) with front disc and rear drum brakes, a parking brake lock function, telescopic front forks, single swing arm rear suspension, an Idling Stop System (ISS), and many more.
Urban-Inspired Design with Decent Practicality
Designed to stand out in the cityscape, the new Vario 125 Street comes with a distinctive look that sets it apart from the previous version.
Up front, this 125-cc scooter retains Honda’s iconic V-shaped front fascia, which is now refreshed with a full LED headlamp and a naked handlebar design paired with a floating digital speedometer that Honda claims can reduce riding fatigue—something it borrowed from many of its adventure-style scooters.
Other key design highlights include a full LED taillight with separate LED turn signals, alloy wheels with colours matching their respective colourways, and more.
With a seat height of 769 mm and a total kerb weight of only 113 kg, the Vario 125 Street is quite a beginner-friendly motorbike. Riders can also find other amenities such as a USB-C charging port inside its glove compartment, an 18-litre underseat storage that can fit one open-face helmet, a 5.5-litre fuel tank, a smart key system, and many more.

Special Collaboration with Local Graffiti Illustrator, Katun
Apart from the standard white and purple colourways, the new Honda Vario 125 Street also comes in a special custom design cover seat crafted by renowned local graffiti artist Katun.
The exclusive cover set will be available on display during special events and showcases organised by BSH, where the first 50 persons who registered shall have a chance to win either Katun’s exclusive T‐shirt or Katun’s designed sticker.

Deliveries for the all-new 2026 Honda Vario 125 Street are slated to commence from May 2026 onwards at all Honda Impian X authorised dealers across Malaysia.
