Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has reached yet another significant milestone, as the brand recently passed the 5,000-unit mark in its cumulative vehicle deliveries in Malaysia.
To celebrate this achievement, Zeekr Malaysia is introducing a slew of initiatives to further elevate the ownership experience of Zeekr owners in Malaysia, including the introduction of the new Extended Warranty Programme with coverage of up to 8 years or 180,000 km.
New Extended Warranty Programme
This new extended warranty programme will be offered as an optional add-on, where new Zeekr owners can subscribe to them within seven days after their vehicle delivery, and prices are varied depending on the model and the package selected.
Existing owners, on the other hand, will also be able to purchase the extended warranty programme from now until Sept 30 this year.
A total of two plans will be offered, including:
- Silver Plan: Extends coverage for both the vehicle warranty and high-voltage components warranty to 8 years or 160,000 km.
- Gold Plan: Extends coverage for both the vehicle warranty and high-voltage components warranty to 8 years or 180,000 km.
Complimentary EV Health Inspection
To further support owners, Zeekr Malaysia is offering a complimentary vehicle health inspection across all authorised Zeekr service centres nationwide.
The inspection is designed to ensure vehicles continue operating at optimal performance standards, which includes the following inspection criteria:
- Power Battery System
- Electric Powertrain
- BCM System
- Undercarriage Inspection
- Low-Voltage Battery
These complimentary inspections are available from now until Sept 30 this year, and owners are encouraged to book appointments in advance through their preferred Zeekr Service Centre or the Zeekr Call Centre.
Zeekr Power – Ultra-Fast Charging Ecosystem
Another highlight for this milestone is the introduction of the Zeekr Power—a dedicated ultra-fast charging ecosystem designed to deliver “a seamless, reliable and convenient charging experience”.
Over the next three years, Zeekr Malaysia aims to establish up to 30 Zeekr Power charging stations nationwide, where the automaker has partnered with local charging point operator (CPO) DC Handal to deploy charging locations along key travel corridors on Malaysia’s North-South Expressway.
These chargers can deploy up to 400 kW of power with the potential of supporting up to 640 kW for selected chargers in the future, with their locations listed below:
- Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani, Kedah
- Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang
- MH Hotel, Ipoh, Perak
- Sunway Pyramid Mall, Petaling Jaya
- PLUS Plaza Toll Sungkai, Perak (under construction, targeted for Q4 completion)
- PLUS Plaza Toll Bukit Gambir, Johor (under construction, targeted for Q4 completion)
For a start, Zeekr is offering an exclusive DC charging rate of RM1.20/kWh at participating Zeekr Power × DC Handal charging stations.
