National automaker Perodua has taken to social media to announce yet another rebate for its first-ever EV model, the Perodua QV-E, in conjunction with the ongoing Malaysia Day celebration.
Through this special Malaysia Day rebate worth RM10,000, Malaysia’s first home-grown EV is now priced at RM53,499 with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription package, or RM77,499 if you opt to outright buy it.
While there’s no time limit for this rebate, the national automaker did say that limited units of the car with a special price are available, and prospective buyers can get them at any Perodua showrooms nationwide.
Rebates After 2026 Price Adjustment
This special Malaysia Day rebate comes months after Perodua revised the pricing for the QV-E, with this compact EV crossover going from its original price of RM80,000 with the BaaS subscription to RM69,999, or RM93,999 to buy it outright.
In conjunction with said price adjustment, P2 also announced a limited-time offer until Sept 30, 2026, where the QV-E will be priced at only RM87,449 or RM63,499 with the same BaaS package.
Having said that, this new rebate only applies to the revised price, not the limited-time offer mentioned above. Also important to add is that the BaaS monthly subscription price remains the same at RM215, with this latest offer having no effect on it.
Speaking of BaaS, this nine-year subscription package comes with unlimited mileage coverage, with a minimum 70% battery state of health (SoH) guaranteed throughout the leasing period. Those who outright buy the QV-E will get an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty with a minimum 70% battery SoH instead.
As a quick recap, the 5-star ASEAN NCAP-rated QV-E is juiced by a 52.5 kWh LFP battery pack that P2 claims is good for up to 445 km of NEDC range. Power is provided by a single, front-mounted (FWD) electric motor rated at 204 PS (150 kW) and 285 Nm to enable this compact crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds—making it the quickest production Perodua to date.
