National automaker Perodua has partnered up with Bank Rakyat to introduce their first dedicated automotive credit card, known as the Perodua Bank Rakyat Credit Card-i.
This new card is specially designed to meet the needs of vehicle owners by offering rewards and exclusive benefits for any automotive-related spending, including refuelling, EV charging, and many more.
Up to Five Times Reward Points for Automotive-Related Spending
According to Perodua, this new card offers up to five times the reward points on spending related to fuel, EV charging, vehicle maintenance, and even vehicle takaful protection purchases, where these points can be converted and redeemed through the Perodua P-Circle mobile app.
Cardholders can also enjoy 0% overseas transaction fees and no annual fee, as well as enjoy complimentary takaful coverage for total outstanding balances of up to RM300,000, up to the age of 70, as well as RM1,000 of Bereavement Benefit (Khairat Kematian).
Two design options are available for cardholders to pick, with one inspired by P2’s first EV model, the Perodua QV-E, while the other one is based on TIRA—a character from the animation film featured on Perodua’s P-Circle mobile app.
“This launch is a significant milestone for us, as it marks the first time we have partnered with a banking institution to introduce a Credit Card-i. We will also be running a special campaign to encourage our customers to apply for the Credit Card-i through exclusive Perodua Package offers,” said Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, Perodua President and CEO.
