Motul has announced its official partnership with Boon Siew Honda (BSH) to become the Official Title Sponsor and Lubricant Partner across two of BSH’s racing programmes in 2026—the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) and the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK).

Through this partnership, Honda’s ARRC AP250 team will be known as Motul Honda Asia Team from now on, whereas the MSBK 250 team will be rebranded simply as Motul Honda Racing Malaysia.

Motul to Fuel BSH’s Regional Racing Campaigns

Under this new technical alliance, Motul will be in charge of powering two of Boon Siew Honda’s racing campaigns for the 2026 season, both of which are competing in the 250-cc class, namely:

  • ARRC AP250 category as the Motul Honda Asia Team
  • MSBK 250 category as Motul Honda Racing Malaysia

From Motul’s perspective, this partnership not only represents a new milestone for the company but also serves as a crucial real-life testing ground for product development, as their involvement is not only as the title sponsor but also as the official lubricant partner too.

Participating in these racing campaigns will provide Motul a high-stakes platform to advance its racing innovation while simultaneously strengthening its brand presence and credibility among the motorcycle community across the Asia-Pacific region.

“This partnership represents a natural evolution of our commitment to motorsport in Asia-Pacific. For Motul, the racetrack is the ultimate testing ground. Powering both the Motul Honda Asia Team in ARRC AP250 and Motul Honda Racing Malaysia in MSBK 250 with our flagship 300V technology allows us to push the boundaries of lubricant innovation under extreme conditions, directly translating track-tested reliability and precision into performance for our consumers across the region,” said Carlo Savoca, chief marketing officer of Motul Asia Pacific.

Meanwhile, BSH managing director and CEO Kunimoto Asano said, “We are thrilled to have Motul onboard as the driving force behind our ARRC and MSBK programmes. Motul’s undeniable expertise on the global stage provides our AP250 and UB150 riders with a distinct technical advantage, and this partnership marks a significant step forward for both companies as we pursue shared growth and championship victory.”

Motul’s 300V Tech at the Forefront

Motul’s foray into regional motorcycle racing with BSH will kick-start later this weekend from July 10 to 12 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) for Round 2 of the MSBK championship, followed by Round 3 later from July 31 to Aug 2, also taking place at SIC.

Meanwhile, the newly-named Motul Honda Asia Racing Team will be in action at the Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, Indonesia, from Aug 7 to 9 for Round 4 of the ARRC 250-cc category.
