Mforce Bike Holdings has just completed the handover of three of its motorcycle models to the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for the Proof of Concept (PoC) programme.
The bike handover involved a total of six motorcycles, comprising two units of the CFMoto 1250TR-G, Brixton K750GT, and Moto Morini X-Cape 1200, where these bikes will undergo a three-month evaluation to assess their suitability for JSPT’s escort and enforcement duties.
Mforce Bikes to Undergo PDRM’s Evaluation Programme
The handover ceremony was held yesterday at Mforce’s headquarters in Val d’Or, Penang, where the company’s COO Asri Ahmad handed these bikes to JPST director Datuk Sri Muhammed Hasbullah Ali.
According to Mforce, both the CFMoto 1250TR-G and the Brixton K750GT will be assessed for escort duties, while the Moto Morini X-Cape 1200 will be evaluated for adventure and dual-purpose operations.

This three-month PoC programme will see these bikes being put through a series of tests and evaluations, including in terms of their handling, riding comfort, equipment functionality, and suitability for JSPT’s operations. This feedback will then help Mforce to identify potential improvements before deciding on further steps, which may or may not include the adoption of these motorcycles into JSPT’s fleet.
Mforce insisted that this trial does not constitute a confirmed purchase by PDRM and JSPT, as any further decision regarding the adoption of these bikes will be dependent on the findings of this evaluation programme.

As for the bikes selected for this PoC exercise, the CFMoto 1250TR-G stood as the most expensive of the bunch, retailing at RM88,888 in Malaysia. This grand tourer bike is powered by a 1,279 cc V-twin engine producing 140 hp and 120 Nm, while featuring a six-speed gearbox with quickshifter, Brembo brakes, a 12.3-inch TFT display, and a large 22.7-litre fuel tank.
Meanwhile, the Moto Morini X-Cape 1200 currently retails at RM51,888 and is powered by a 1,187 cc V-twin engine rated at 129 hp and 106 Nm. Being an adventure touring model, the X-Cape 1200 comes standard with KYB suspension, Brembo brakes, a seven-inch TFT display, a three-piece luggage, and an adjustable windscreen.

Last but not least is the Brixton K750GT, which was selected as the second escort model for this trail. Apart from its 750 cc parallel twin engine, other detailed specifications on this bike remain scarce and unknown, including its retail price.
