Besides the new CX-5, Mazda Malaysia (Bermaz Motor) also showcased the latest variant of the CX-60 at Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026), the new 2026 Mazda CX-60 3.3L MHEV.
Joining the current 2.5G model, this inline-six mild hybrid-powered variant of the brand’s new five-seater midsize SUV is still fully imported (CBU) from Japan and now can be purchased at RM252,872 on-the-road sans insurance.
For that price, buyers will get a standard 5-year or 100,000 km manufacturer’s warranty with a complimentary service package.
Now with the Signature Inline-Six Engine
The MHEV powertrain in question features Mazda’s new 3.3-litre turbocharged inline six petrol engine with a longitudinal layout which was developed together with the Large Product Group platform that the CX-60 underpins.
Rated at 284 PS and 450 Nm by itself, this straight-six engine is then mated to Mazda’s new M Hybrid 48-volt MHEV system with an integrated starter-generator that provides an extra 16 PS and 153 Nm of boost, drawing its juice from a small 0.33 kWh lithium-ion battery.

And just like the base 2.5G variant, the new CX-60 3.3L MHEV also comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, although it now comes with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system as opposed to the CX-60 2.5G’s rear-wheel-drive-only (RWD) layout.
Minor Design & Equipment Changes
On the visual front, the new CX-60 3.3L MHEV looks very identical to its lower-specced sibling, albeit featuring some minor equipment changes inside and outside.
For starters, the new variant rocks a pair of “Inline 6” badges on its front fenders to make it easier for us to tell it apart from the 2.5G model. The 3.3L MHEV also rides on new 20-inch alloy wheels finished in two-tone silver and gloss black, while both the AWD and e-Skyactiv G badges are present at the tailgate.
Not to forget, there are only two colour options available—Rhodium White with a matching Pure White interior and Machine Gray with Tan interior.
Speaking of the interior, the CX-60 3.3L MHEV gets the same interior design as the 2.5G with two colour options available for picking. Most of its amenities are carried over from the 2.5G model, such as the 12.3-inch infotainment screen and the 12-speaker Bose audio system, but the MHEV variant ups the ante with the new 12-way adjustable front seats that now feature ventilation function as standard.
