Chery Malaysia today announced the launch of its new mobile app dedicated to its plug-in hybrid (PHEV) owners, known as CarLinko.
This dedicated mobile app can now be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, where it is designed to further elevate the ownership experience of Chery Super Hybrid PHEV drivers in Malaysia.
Everyday Conveniences at Your Fingertips
When paired with the new CarLinko app, Chery PHEV owners are able to access multiple functions and controls for their vehicles, ranging from smart monitoring, energy management, and everyday convenience.
With just a few taps on their mobile phone, drivers can remotely activate the air conditioning before entering the car, while at the same time allowing them to locate their vehicle via its location detection function.
More importantly, the CarLinko app also supports energy management for Chery PHEVs, where owners can schedule battery charging at home through the mobile app, making it easy to charge during preferred hours and manage electricity usage efficiently.
Real-Time Vehicle Status Monitor & Service Scheduling
On the telemetry front, this mobile app also gives owners real-time access to vital vehicle information such as mileage, remaining driving range, battery and petrol level, plus other driving-related information like tyre pressure information and fuel consumption data. This enables drivers to monitor performance, efficiency, and safety effortlessly, all without stepping into the vehicle.
Last but not least, owners can also review service schedules and access detailed service records, providing clear visibility into what work has been carried out on the vehicle, making long-term ownership worry-free and well organised.
As mentioned above, the new Chery CarLinko mobile app is now available for download via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, where new owners of the Chery PHEV models (Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 8 PHEV) will get the app up and ready once the vehicle is being delivered to them.
Alternatively, existing Chery PHEV owners can activate the service by visiting their nearest authorised Chery dealership, where verification and secure pairing with the vehicle will be carried out to ensure a smooth and secure setup process.
