Months after its production and booking commencement, local Xpeng brand representative Bermaz Xpeng has recently completed the first batch delivery of the locally-assembled (CKD) Xpeng G6.
Taking place at the iconic Menara Kuala Lumpur, this first batch handover marks the start of customer deliveries for the locally assembled model and also reflects the brand’s continued commitment to strengthening its presence in Malaysia through local assembly and enhanced ownership support.
Made in Malaysia, for Malaysians
This group delivery brought together early adopters of the new G6 CKD personalised handover experience at one of Malaysia’s most iconic landmarks, while highlighting Xpeng’s focus on meaningful customer engagement and its growing footprint in Malaysia’s rapidly developing EV landscape.
The local assembly effort for the G6 started earlier in June this year, with EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB) being assigned as the contract assembler for this midsize EV SUV, with the actual production taking place at the company’s plant in Pegoh, Melaka.

More importantly, the G6 CKD retains its core strengths and features, including the SEPA 2.0 800-volt platform that supports up to 451 kW of DC fast charging, enabling the G6 to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
Same Specs & Price as CBU Version
Besides the charging performance, the locally-assembled G6 also retains the same specifications and price tags as their fully imported (CBU) counterparts.
Available in three distinct variants, the new Xpeng G6 CKD starts at RM158,888 for the Standard Range, RM178,888 for the Long Range, and RM189,888 for the top-spec AWD Performance.

In a separate news, Bermaz Xpeng also announced that customer deliveries for the newly-launched 2026 Xpeng X9 have already commenced nationwide.
