TRICK Rides, a premier restoration and custom build company from the United States, has unveiled their latest creation — the Shelby GT350TR.
The company, owned by Jason Engel and Jarred Morris, has built a strong reputation for blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge modern technology.
This latest project is a full reinterpretation of one of the most iconic Shelby models in automotive history.

Built entirely within their 31,000 square foot workshop in Yukon, Oklahoma, this machine was created with a deep and genuine respect for the legacy of Carroll Shelby.
It marries classic heritage with modern engineering to produce a track-focused performance car that stays completely true to the soul of the original GT350.
Powertrain

The heart of the Shelby GT350TR was engineered to deliver extraordinary performance while preserving the raw, analogue driving experience that made the original so special.
Under the bonnet sits a supercharged Coyote 5.0L V8 engine producing a thunderous 700hp.
All of that power is put to the rear wheels through a TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission — because a build like this deserves three pedals.

The exhaust system is fully custom-built, using Ultimate Headers paired with a MagnaFlow silencer to ensure optimal flow and that unmistakable American V8 soundtrack.
For buyers who prefer a different power delivery character, Trick Rides also offers an optional 427 cubic inch (7.0-litre) naturally aspirated stroker engine as an alternative.
Chassis and Handling

To ensure the GT350TR handles as well as it looks, Trick Rides built the car on a modern chassis sourced from Roadster Shop.
Up front, independent suspension takes care of business, while the rear uses a parallel 4-bar setup paired with a 9-inch Pro Iron rear axle.
Handling is further reinforced by Fox dampers and oversized anti-roll bars both front and rear.

The wheels are three-piece Forgeline units wrapped in Continental Z-rated tyres for maximum grip when it matters most.
Stopping duty falls to a Baer brake system — six-piston calipers up front and four-piston at the rear — both paired with drilled and slotted rotors.
Exterior Design and Finishing

While the body panels remain steel — keeping things honest to the original — a number of thoughtful modern touches have been carefully integrated throughout.
These include flush-mounted front and rear glass, and custom Trick Rides LED taillights that modernise the rear end without losing the classic silhouette.

Additional aesthetic details include Ringbrothers door handles, hinges, and side mirrors — subtle premium touches that elevate the build without shouting for attention.
Despite the many modern upgrades, the visual identity as a GT350 is never compromised. The moment you grab the wheel, it feels exactly as it should.
Pricing and Availability

The Shelby GT350TR is available in a wide range of custom colour schemes tailored to each client’s preferences. Pricing for this American icon starts from $339,000 (approximately RM1,374,645).
