Malaysia’s biggest annual Kustom and Counter Culture event, Art of Speed Malaysia (AOS), returns for its fifteenth edition this year, set to take place from Aug 1 to 2 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).

With a theme of “Summer Festival – Kustom Bergaya,” this event will feature a series of concurrent showcases, exhibitions, build-off contests, and many more—covering 452,084 square-foot of indoor space and 320 acres of outdoor grounds.

HWCCM Returns with Skyline GT-R R34 Exclusive Model

Among the biggest highlights for AOS this year is the Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia (HWCCM), which enters its fourth edition this year.

Set to take place at Hall C of MAEPS throughout AOS, this convention will gather Hot Wheels enthusiasts from both local and international levels together in one spot, with several activation zones and activities taking place, such as the Hot Wheels Diorama Exhibition & Competition, Hot Wheels Swap, Buy and Sell, and Collector sharing sessions.

More importantly, this year’s HWCCM exclusive convention model will be a custom Nissan Skyline GT-R V.Spec II R34, with each car featuring a unique serial number, where quantities will be limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To celebrate the release of the special Hot Wheels Nissan Skyline GT-R V·Spec II R34 collector car, Hall C will feature a curated display of Nissan Skyline GT-Rs in collaboration with the Malaysia Skyline Owners Group (MSOG).

Lucky attendees will also get a chance to meet Ronald Wong, Lead Product Designer for Hot Wheels Premium, who oversaw the design of flagship Hot Wheels models such as 1997 McLaren F1 GTR, ’07 Honda Civic Type R, and the ’24 Honda Civic Type R.

International Guests, Custom Cars & Bikes Showcase

Continuing the tradition from the previous edition, this year’s AOS will also feature a series of international guests, with legendary Japanese car tuner Liberty Walk headlining the lineup as it makes its inaugural appearance at Art of Speed.

Some other notable international and regional guests heading to AOS include MOONEYES Japan, Vise Clothing, Hawgholic, DicE Magazine, and Hot Wheels Premium, as well as builders and artists from Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines.

Also continuing the tradition is the showcase of custom cars and motorcycles, including two custom-built Harley Davidson bikes from Japan. One of which is a 1945 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead built by Hawgholic and a 1966 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead by Vise Clothing, alongside an exclusive showcase of custom cars from Thailand, Taiwan, and many more.

AOS Invitational Build-Off Returns

The 15th AOS also marks a return of the showcase’s long-time favourite, the Art of Speed Invitational Build-Off, where eight of Malaysia’s top custom motorcycle builders will compete.

Winners of this build-off will stand a chance to showcase their winning motorcycle at the 34th Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2026 in Japan, while cash prizes are also up for grabs.

Besides special builds, visitors to AOS 2026 can also participate in test ride sessions at the dedicated Test Ride Zone, where participating brands including Royal Enfield, Vespa, Aprilia, Triumph, Lambretta, Harley-Davidson, Thunder Motorcycles and more will offer test rides on selected models.

“As we proudly usher in 15 years of Art of Speed, I am filled with immense gratitude for the unwavering support of our fans, community, and media partners. This year marks the realization of a long-held dream: delivering a fully integrated, world-class festival that seamlessly blends automotive lifestyle with a premier live music experience,” said Asep Ahmad Iskandar, Festival Director of Art of Speed Malaysia.

Tickets for the 15th Art of Speed Malaysia 2026 can now be purchased at AOS’ official website, with a special online early bird price of RM35 for the Weekend Pass, while the door price is set at RM40. Children below 12 years old and OKU (disabled) card holders will enjoy free entry.
