Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia (Zeekr Malaysia) has introduced a new limited-edition version of its popular midsize EV SUV, the Zeekr 7X Black Nova.
Based on the top-specced 7X AWD Performance, only 200 units of the limited-edition 7X Black Nova will be available nationwide, with each example retailing at RM235,000, making it RM4,200 more expensive than the standard version.

As standard, said price is inclusive of a five-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, a separate 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the high-voltage battery and related components, plus one year of complimentary connected service comprising 6 GB of internet data per month.
All-Black Special Edition
And just like what Xpeng did with its limited-run G6 AWD Performance Black Edition, the new Zeekr 7X Black Nova is essentially an inside-out, blacked-out edition of this popular midsize EV SUV.
On the exterior, buyers can only get the 7X Black Nova in a single all-black exterior colourway, which is then matched with new 20-inch alloy wheels finished in black.
Besides those blacked-out parts, this limited-edition version still gets the same equipment as the standard 7X AWD Performance, including the orange-hued Akebono brake callipers, the Zeekr Stargate Integrated Smart Light Curtain at the front with the illuminated Zeekr logo, and many more.

The Black Nova treatment continues inside, where it gets an exclusive two-tone black and grey interior wrapped in plush full-grain Nappa leather upholstery. Other cabin amenities such as the powered doors and the powered rear window sunshades are largely carried over from the non-Black Nova version.
Dual-Motor AWD Powertrain
The same goes for its powertrain setup, where the 7X Black Nova is powered by the same dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup as the range-topping 7X, rated at up to 646 PS and 710 Nm to enable a quick 0-100 km/h time of just 3.8 seconds.
Juice is provided by a sizable 100-kWh NMC battery pack that provides up to 543 km of WLTP range and can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 16 minutes via a 420 kW DC fast charger.
