After its first preview and booking commencement, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has finally launched its long-awaited B-segment SUV, the Mitsubishi Xforce.
Assembled locally (CKD) at the Hicom assembly plant in Pekan, the Malaysian-spec Xforce comes in two variants, with on-the-road (OTR) prices starting from RM109,980 for the baseline Urban and RM119,980 for the top-spec Ultimate.

For that money, buyers will get a standard 5-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, as well as a series of early bird promotions that have now been extended to April 12, 2026. This includes a RM5,000 cash rebate, three times free labour for services, and a free entry to a “Buy 1 Free 1” contest for a chance to win another Xforce.
On top of these promos, existing Mitsubishi owners and their immediate family members who purchase the new Xforce will be entitled to a special loyalty programme that adds an extra RM1,000 of cash rebate.
Same 1.5L NA Engine as the Xpander, No HEV for Now
Unlike its brethren in Thailand and Indonesia, the Malaysian-spec Xforce only comes in a single powertrain option that is shared with its MPV twin, the Mitsubishi Xpander. The powertrain in question is a 1.5-litre 4-cyl naturally-aspirated 4A91 MIVEC petrol engine serving 105 PS and 141 Nm, which is then mated to a CVT automatic gearbox that drives the front wheels (FWD).
While Malaysians didn’t get the hybrid (HEV) variant of the Xforce, at least we still get all the trick gizmos primed on this B-SUV, including the brand’s signature Active Yaw Control (AYC), made famous by the Lancer Evolution, as well as selectable driving modes such as Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud.
Official Accessories Available
Visually, the local-spec Xforce looks similar to its other ASEAN siblings and its original concept twin, the radical Mitsubishi XFC Concept, where the B-SUV sports a very futuristic, EV-esque look that sets it apart from other current Mitsubishi models.
Some key design highlights include T-shaped lights on both ends, Mitsubishi’s signature ‘Dynamic Shield’ front face, a trapezoidal front grille with honeycomb inserts, 18-inch two-tone wheels for both variants, and many more. As for colours, the Xforce is available in Diamond Black Mica, Red Metallic, Graphite Gray, and Quartz White Pearl—the latter being a RM400 cost option.

Dimension-wise, the Xforce is on par with many other popular B-SUVs available on the market, spanning 4,390 mm long, 1,810 mm wide, 1,660 mm tall with a 2,650 mm wheelbase, and a segment-leading ground clearance of 222 mm.
To further jazz up the already stylish Xforce, MMM is offering an array of official accessory packages for the SUV, including the Urban Level Up package that adds a tailgate spoiler and engine hood emblem to the Urban variant for an extra RM1,000.
Next is the Excitement package, which adds a sporty front undergarnish, side door garnish, and a rear undergarnish for RM4,100, while the Practicality package comes with a luggage tray and mud guards for an extra RM700. Other accessories that are not included in any of these packages include roof rails (RM2,200), scuff plates (RM355), door visors (RM205), and a fabric cleaner (RM50).

The first 50 customers who purchase any of these accessory packages will be entitled to a 20% discount, thus cutting their prices further down to RM3,280, RM1,760, and RM560, respectively.
Fancy & Spacious Interior with 5-Star Safety
Inside, the Xforce boasts a surprisingly practical cabin laced with several modern creature comforts.
Some key highlights for the top-spec Ultimate variant include a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch digital metre cluster, a nanoe X air purification system, a wireless charging pad, ambient lights, a powered tailgate with hands-free function, a built-in dashcam (front and rear), and the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium System 8-speaker audio system.
Getting the baseline Urban spec downgrades the cabin slightly, where buyers only settled for a 4.2-inch TFT metre cluster, a smaller 8-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six speakers, a front dashcam, dual-zone A/C, and many more.

On the safety front, the new Xforce was recently awarded a five-star rating by ASEAN NCAP, thanks to a slew of standard safety bits.
The Urban model comes with four airbags, an around-view monitor, and front and rear parking sensors, as well as basic active safety functions like Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Change Assist (LCA), and more.

Should you want more ADAS functions, the Ultimate variant comes with Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN), and Auto High Beam (AHB), as well as six airbags, a tyre pressure monitor system (TPMS), and many more.
