Just weeks after the new City facelift was launched, Honda Malaysia has now opened the order books for the new 2026 Honda City Hatchback facelift, with bookings now able to be made via Honda Malaysia’s official website or at any Honda authorised dealers.
Designed for modern lifestyles, this refreshed B-segment favourite brings the same bold new look and premium upgrades we’ve seen on its sedan twin, but in a more compact and sporty hatchback form.
Same Changes as Sedan Version
The design changes start with the front fascia, where all variants of the new City Hatchback get the new front face featuring sharp LED headlights with a connecting LED light bar, plus a sleeker front bumper design.
This is complemented by the new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels that are now finished in a Berlina Black and Dark Clear, exclusively available for the RS variant.

The second facelift treatment continues inside the car, where it receives an upgraded front dashboard with a refined 3D pattern mid-garnish and ambient lights. This is complemented by the new 10-inch central touchscreen that now supports the new 360-degree multi-view camera system, plus wireless mobile connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay).
To compensate for its compact footprint, the new City Hatchback retains its signature ULTRA (Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh) seats that offer up to four versatile configurations, allowing owners to optimise cabin space according to their needs.

Last but not least, this compact hatch also gets the same safety equipment upgrades as its sedan twin, including the Blind Spot Information (BSI) and Cross Traffic Monitoring (CTM) functions in its Honda Sensing ADAS suite.
Unchanged Powertrain Specs with Enhanced Warranties
Also unchanged are the powertrain options offered to the new City Hatchback, featuring both the full combustion i-VTEC and Honda’s proprietary e:HEV series-parallel hybrid system.
The latter option, which will be offered to the top-spec e:HEV RS variant, comprises a 1.5-litre 4-cyl naturally-aspirated Atkinson Cycle petrol engine, which is then mated to an electric traction motor rated at 109 PS and 253 Nm.

To further enhance ownership experience, Honda Malaysia is offering an extended 10-year unlimited mileage hybrid battery and components warranty to the new City Hatchback, on top of the newly-announced 8-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty.
Mind you, the extended vehicle warranty also applies to all Honda models sold in Malaysia, effective from Sept 1, 2026, onwards.
