National automaker Perodua has just completed the handover of nine vehicles to two district police headquarters (IPD), namely IPD Hulu Selangor and IPD KLIA, in a show of support for law enforcement within the state of Selangor.
The contribution, consisting of seven units of Perodua Ativa and two units of Perodua Aruz, was donated to the two IPDs as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative.
New Perodua Vehicles for PDRM
The delivery of these vehicles began earlier in April this year, with the first three units of the Perodua Ativa being given to IPD Hulu Selangor, while the remaining six units of vehicles were handed over in a ceremony held at Kuala Kubu Bharu on Oct 12, 2026.
The handover ceremony was attended by Selangor Chief of Police Dato’ Pahlawan Shazeli Dato’ Kahar, who received mock keys from Perodua president and CEO Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.
“We appreciate the police’s role in the safety of the country, and we value their sacrifice and dedication when performing their duties. We hope our contribution will help in their efforts to serve the public,” said Dato’ Sri Zainal.
Long-Time Partnership Between P2 and PDRM
This vehicle handover was not the first time Perodua has collaborated with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), as the company has been working with the force numerous times prior. To date, Perodua has contributed a total of 21 vehicles to various IPDs in Selangor.
Some of the Perodua models involved in the previous handovers include two units of Bezza in 2019, four units of Myvi in 2022, as well as six units of various models in 2024.
