There’s a new limited-edition MINI model that just arrived in Malaysia, and only 48 units are up for grabs nationwide.
Say hello to the new MINI Countryman S All4 Desert Night Edition—a limited-edition, desert-inspired compact crossover priced at RM276,333 on-the-road sans insurance, or RM277,733 if you opt for the MINI extended warranty and service package.
Desert-Inspired Countryman S
Built in anticipation of the upcoming “desert-born race from Bahrain arriving in Sepang”, the new Countryman S All4 Desert Night Edition combines the exclusive Desert Night design elements with the rugged and commanding stature of the new Countryman SUV crossover.
Some key exterior highlights include the Desert Night accents on both the C- and D-pillars, the front bumper signature, as well as both the wheel hub caps and valve covers.
Not to mention, only two colourways will be available for this special Countryman—Smokey Green and Slate Blue, with the former limited to 30 units and the latter capped at only 18 units.
The desert-inspired theme continues inside the Countryman S All4 Desert Night Edition, where it gets the same Desert Night accents as the exterior, this time on the steering wheel. There are also the Desert Night-branded floor mats, and even the keycap carries the Desert Night motif.
Same Powertrain Specs with Standard ADAS
Powering the Countryman S All4 Desert Night Edition is the same 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbocharged B48 petrol engine producing 204 PS and 300 Nm.
Power is then sent to all wheels via an 8-speed Steptronic Sports transmission and MINI’s All4 intelligent all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that sees this SUV crossover accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.
And for the first time in the MINI Countryman, the Countryman S All4 Desert Night Edition is offered with Active Cruise Control (ACC) as standard, along with the MINI Driving Assistant Plus active safety system suite.
