Kia Sales Malaysia Opens New Parts Warehouse in Shah Alam

Kia Sales Malaysia (KSM) has further fortified its aftersales operations with the establishment of its new centralised parts warehouse at One Logistics Hub in Shah Alam.

Spanning approximately 20,000 square feet, the establishment of this warehouse is made possible via the company’s partnership with its local logistics partner, PKT Logistics Group, where it is supported by nine dedicated staff members.

Same-Day Delivery Within Klang Valley

With its strategic location in Shah Alam, KSM targets up to same-day delivery of parts within the Klang Valley area, as well as reduced fulfilment lead times for other regions.

To achieve this, the order and inventory management systems for this parts warehouse have also been enhanced, with the company claiming that since its operations started, the parts delivery accuracy rate has been recorded at 100%.

More importantly, this new parts hub also enables KSM to achieve near-complete parts availability across all of its current models, covering service, electrical, mechanical, and structural components.

Parts for older models such as the Forte, Cerato, Picanto, Stinger, Seltos, Optima, EV6, EV9, as well as previous generations of the Carnival, Sportage, and Sorento, are also available at this facility.

“Since the start of our operations, our approach has been to build the fundamentals first—from parts availability and inventory management to dealer capability and service support. These are the foundations that allow us to deliver a more consistent ownership experience today, while preparing Kia Malaysia for sustainable growth in the years ahead,” said Hyung Ho Kim, Kia Sales Malaysia president and CEO.

More Affordable Parts for All Kia Owners

Prior to this parts warehouse establishment, KSM announced an average 15% reduction in prices across all Kia Genuine Parts, in a bid to help lower the cost of ownership for Kia customers nationwide, while making genuine parts more accessible through its authorised network.

The improvement also extends to the flexibility offered through the Kia Maintenance Plan (KMP), which is a prepaid five-year scheduled servicing package, with prices starting from RM2,980 for the Sportage 1.6T, RM3,580 for the Carnival 2.2D and RM3,680 for the Sportage 2.0.

In separate news, KSM has also expanded its outlet network with the establishment of Kia Kota Bharu. Operated by Baihaki Automotive Sdn Bhd, this facility will be fully operational from Oct 15, 2026, as a 2S centre first, with its showroom and sales operations set to commence in the near future.
