It appears that the official ticket prices for the upcoming Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 in Malaysia has been officially announced, which is set to take place at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) from Oct 2 to 4 this year.

From the Bahrain Grand Prix’s official website, tickets for Malaysian citizens (MyKad holders) for a 3-day pass to this grand prix starts at RM200 for G Hillstand category, with the most expensive one being Main Grandstand, priced at RM2,083.40.

Special Ticket Price for Malaysians

Besides both the G Hillstand and Main Grandstand categories, Malaysians can also enjoy special prices for other ticketing categories.

This includes both the C Hillstand and B Hillstand tickets are priced at RM809.60 for a 3-day pass, whereas the F Grandstand and the K1 Grandstand tickets are each priced at RM1,291.40 and RM1,386, respectively.

Children aged between 3 and 6 are entitled to a 25% discount for any of the ticket categories mentioned above except for G Hillstand, while free entrance is available for children below the age of 3.

As for non-Malaysians, the cheapest ticket categories available are the B Hillstand and C Hillstand, both of which are priced at $218.90 (RM894.32). This also means that the affordable G Hillstand ticket is only available for Malaysians.

Rounding off the non-MyKad holders ticket prices are the F Grandstand at $376.63 (RM1,538), K1 Grandstand at $350.13 (RM1,430.46), and Main Grandstand at $566.05 (RM2,312.60).

Return of F1 to Sepang Since 2017

The return of F1 to Sepang and Malaysia in general marks a near-decade hiatus, with the last edition of the Malaysian Grand Prix held back in 2017.

Although its return this year is under a rather complicated yet sudden circumstance, fans of the sport would be keen to flock into the SIC this October, as this could be a once-in-a-lifetime moment for such a race being held at this iconic track.

To recap, the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia will be held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit from Oct 2 to 4, 2026.
