ŠKODA UK has unveiled a striking new colour called Dragon Skin to mark the 30th anniversary of the Octavia.
What makes this particularly interesting is that the colour wasn’t chosen by the manufacturer alone — it was decided entirely by a public vote from Škoda UK’s loyal fanbase through their social media platforms.
When the Fans Get to Call the Shots

Škoda UK took this refreshingly unique approach by running a series of polls across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
In what turned out to be a tight race, Dragon Skin edged out two other contenders — Storm Blue and Tangerine Orange — by the slimmest of margins.
This latest addition joins a growing roster of exclusive fan-voted colours that have been introduced over the past year.
Previously, vRS fans had picked Waterworld Green and Space Violet as their favourites in the 2025 vote, where both colours triumphed over Hot Chilli Red and Plum Blue.
An Exclusive Finish for the Octavia vRS

Dragon Skin will be offered as an exclusive paint finish across both variants of the Octavia vRS — the hatch and the estate.
The new shade is designed to give this performance-focused model an even more dramatic visual presence on the road.
UK orders for the Octavia vRS in Dragon Skin will open from 4 March 2026, priced at £855 (RM4,484).
This addition further solidifies the Octavia vRS identity — a car known for blending everyday practicality, solid performance, and a style that’s all its own — giving owners yet another way to stand out on the road.

Limited Edition Octavia SportLine
Beyond the vRS, Škoda also plans to bring Dragon Skin to the Octavia SportLine in extremely limited numbers — just 130 units — later this year.
This special edition model will also be available in three other recently introduced exclusive finishes: Waterworld Green, Space Violet, and Royal Green.
Performance That Still Means Business

Now in its fourth generation, the Octavia continues to evolve with the latest technology and a more efficient powertrain lineup — all without losing sight of what made it great: practicality and genuine value for money.
Under the bonnet, the Octavia vRS is powered by a 2.0 TSI engine producing a maximum output of 265 ps and 370 Nm of torque, sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

In terms of acceleration, the hatch variant sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, while the slightly heavier estate is only a whisker behind at 6.5 seconds.
Both variants are capable of hitting a top speed of 250 km/h.
