Tesla Malaysia has expanded its retail and charging footprint with the opening of its new Experience Centre at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur.
Located at G-001 & G[E]-011, right by the link to The Gardens Mall, this new outlet is the fifth Tesla Experience Centre in Malaysia and the third one within the Klang Valley region, while being the brand’s seventh overall physical retail location.
New Tesla Physical Retail Outlet
Designed to provide customers with a seamless environment to explore, configure, and test-drive Tesla’s vehicle lineup, visitors to this new Experience Centre can check out all the latest offerings from Tesla Malaysia, including the recently-launched Tesla Model Y L.
Debuted locally back in April this year with a recommended retail price of RM263,000, the new Model Y L is essentially a long-wheel-based version of the Model Y SUV, featuring three rows of seats with a 2-2-2 configuration and two captain-style seats at the second row.
Supercharger Network Expanded
To support the new retail location, Tesla has deployed four V4 Superchargers at Floor B1 (Zone B) of The Gardens Mall. Delivering peak charging speeds of up to 250 kW, these Superchargers can add approximately 311 km of range to a Model 3 or Model Y in just 15 minutes.
Including this revamped station at The Gardens Mall, Tesla currently operates 21 Supercharging stations (92 Superchargers) and 18 Destination Charging sites (78 chargers) across Malaysia, with six more stations planned by the end of 2026 across KL, Selangor, Perak, Seremban, and Penang.
This growing charging infrastructure, combined with cross-border warranty coverage and connectivity, supports uninterrupted long-distance road trips for Tesla owners between Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
