Keeway Malaysia has announced the commencement of a product recall programme for its Keeway XDV180 Evo scooter model, pertaining to potential durability issues with the swingarm assembly on selected units.
To ensure optimum performance and rider safety, existing owners of the XDV180 Evo are advised to check vehicle status via the official portal, where the old swingarm of these affected units will be replaced by a newly-designed one for free.
Replacement at Any Authorised Keeway Malaysia Dealerships
Owners with affected units can contact or visit their nearest authorised Keeway Malaysia dealership where the original purchase was made to schedule an appointment for replacement.
And as mentioned earlier, the swingram replacement will be done for free on all affected units, covering both parts and labour costs.
According to the company, the newly redesigned swingarm component has been specially engineered to offer enhanced structural strength and long-term stability during rides.
