Local Kia brand vanguard Kia Sales Malaysia (KSM) has announced the appointment of its newest dealer partner, Cycle & Carriage (C&C).
The partnership between KSM and one of the oldest car dealerships in the region marks a vital step in Kia’s strategy of strengthening its retail presence in Malaysia while further elevating customer experience nationwide.
Two Major Forces United
Commenting on this momentous milestone, KSM CEO Hyung Ho Kim said, “The appointment of Cycle & Carriage, a renowned automotive brand in Malaysia with a legacy spanning over 125 years, reflects Kia’s commitment to strengthening our retail footprint and elevating the customer experience nationwide, while positioning the brand more competitively within Malaysia’s dynamic automotive landscape.”
Meanwhile, C&C Malaysia CEO Adrian Short said, “As one of the world’s largest carmakers, Kia is a strong addition to our portfolio. We are proud to welcome the brand and look forward to leveraging Cycle & Carriage’s automotive expertise and customer-focused sales, aftersales, and service excellence to expand the brand’s market reach and deliver exceptional ownership journeys to customers in Malaysia.”

Through this partnership, C&C is poised to operate new Kia sales touchpoints and provide after-sales support to Kia owners in Malaysia, thus elevating the ownership experience in line with the automaker’s global standards. On top of that, Kia becomes the company’s third automotive brand to be added under its roster following the appointment of both Peugeot and Leapmotor last year.
