Making its local debut alongside the new, all-electric Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe earlier this week is the new 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro Coupe, which is now available for purchase at RM2.088 million, including tax and duties.
This is essentially a new, sportier variant of the second-gen Mercedes-AMG GT and apparently shares the same specs as the 200-unit-only Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro Motorsport Collectors Edition that debuted earlier this year.
Same V8 Base
Under the hood, you’ll find the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 M177 petrol engine used in the regular GT63 coupe, now outputting 612 PS and 850 Nm thanks to the improved engine control unit.
Said V8 mill is still mated to the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic, with drive sent to either the rear or all four wheels via an AMG Performance 4Matic+ system. Some headline figures include a rapid 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.2 seconds, as well as an improved V-max of 317 km/h over 315 km/h on the regular GT63 Coupe.
To go with its improved engine, AMG engineers have also given some aero upgrades to the GT63 Pro Coupe, which includes a 30 kg reduction of aerodynamic lift on the front axle, as well as a 15 kg increase in rear axle downforce courtesy of additional air deflectors on the underbody—similar to those on the Mercedes-AMG One.
Braking performance has also been improved, thanks to the AMG ceramic high-performance composite brake system with 6-piston fixed callipers at the front and one-piston floating callipers at the rear.
More Aggressive Exterior
Some visual changes have also taken place on the new GT63 Pro Coupe here over its non-Pro twin, including a more aggressive front bumper with a redesigned front apron and additional air deflectors—all of which are part of the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre package.
The side intakes have also been enlarged to make the front fascia fiercer than before, while the Pro chequered flag badge on the tailgate is the easiest hint for us to tell the difference between the Pro and non-Pro GT63 Coupe.
Other key parts and amenities featured here include the 21-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels, AMG Performance seats in nappa leather, an AMG Performance steering wheel in carbon fibre, an MBUX multimedia system comprising a 12.3-inch driver display with an 11.9-inch central display, and many more.
