Volvo Car Malaysia has further expanded its local network with the opening of the new Volvo 2S centre in Kuching, Sarawak.
Operated by Sebangga Group, this new outlet is located at the familiar automotive space along Jalan Pending, which is situated nearby the Kuching city centre.
Aftersales & Parts Centre First, Dealership Outlet Later
For its initial phase, this new 2S centre will be dedicated entirely to aftersales service and parts, with Sebangga Mitsinbo already laying out the groundwork to upgrade the site into an official dealership in the near future.
In the meantime, prospective Volvo owners in Kuching and Sarawak at large can still place their orders through Sebangga Mitsinbo’s Volvo dealership located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Commenting on this momentous occasion, Chris Wailes, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia and Thailand, said, “Our relationship with customers is very important to us. We are deeply committed to maintaining a robust, accessible network of service centres—and soon, complete dealerships across Malaysia.
“Bringing Sebangga Mitsinbo into Kuching ensures our Sarawakian owners get the uncompromising care they deserve, cementing this centre as a key pillar in our wider national network,” Chris added.

Meanwhile, Dato’ Arif Ambrose Ng, Chairman of Sebangga Group, commented, “We are incredibly proud to build on our partnership with Volvo Car Malaysia and finally bring the Sebangga footprint into Sarawak. Our presence will allow us to immediately start looking after the local Volvo community.”
