Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has expanded its Triton pick-up model portfolio with the launch of the new 2026 Mitsubishi Triton Single Cab AT.
This is essentially the same car as the Triton Single Cab MT, but with an automatic transmission swap, and Malaysians can get one priced at RM107,980 on-the-road, making it RM3,000 more expensive than the original manual version.
As standard, the price listed above is inclusive of a five-year or 200,000 km vehicle warranty, whichever comes first.
Same Engine, Different Gearbox
As its name suggests, the new Triton Single Cab AT swaps the manual version’s six-speed manual gearbox for a six-speed automatic torque-converter transmission—the same auto gearbox used on the double cab variants.
Besides the new slushbox, the Triton Single Cab AT also gains some additional equipment over its manual twin, including reverse parking sensors, a rear diff lock, a bedliner, a black rear bumper, and black vinyl seats as standard.
Besides those changes, the rest of the truck remains the same, where it continues to draw power from the same 2.4-litre 4-cyl turbodiesel engine rated at 184 PS and 430 Nm as the manual version. Said engine is also mated to the Easy Select 4WD system (2H, 4H, and 4L), while its total payload is capped at 1,145 kg as standard.
Last but not least, buyers can only get the new Triton Single Cab AT in a single Solid White exterior colour option, while other key pieces of equipment primed here include the 17-inch steel wheels shod in 265/65 all-terrain tyres, three airbags, and many more.
