Petronas Lubricants International (PLI), the global lubricants manufacturing and marketing arm of Petronas, has entered a strategic partnership with UM Motorcycles to expand its Petronas Sprinta motorcycle lubricants range to global markets.
Through this collaboration, the Petronas Sprinta motorcycle lubricants will be supplied to UM Motorcycle’s extensive global network of distributors and aftersales dealers in selected markets across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
Sprinta Going Global
For its initial phase, PLI will be introducing selected products from its Petronas Sprinta range, particularly the ones featuring its UltraFlex technology that promises enhanced performance and protection while ensuring engine reliability and longevity.
Through this strategic partnership, UM Motorcycles provides PLI with a strong platform for collaboration and future growth opportunities, while the UM Motorcycles’ participating distributors and dealer networks benefit from PLI’s recognised reputation in performance lubricants to raise the quality of customer engagement across multiple touchpoints.
Besides bringing in Sprinta lubricants, PLI will also support dealer development initiatives, technical training programmes, and coordinated marketing activities for participating UM Motorcycles dealers and distributors.
The range of Petronas Sprinta Lubricants will be made available at UM Motorcycles distributors and dealer networks on a progressive basis, with the first batch of products set to reach shelves in Oct 2026, starting in Asia, followed by launches across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as well as the Americas.
