BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, has expanded its retail footprint in the East Malaysian region with the opening of the new 3S centre in Miri, Sarawak.
Spanning 12,228 square feet, the new Miri 3S Centre currently stands as BYD’s largest 3S facility in Sarawak, bringing sales, service and spare parts support together under one roof.
Largest BYD 3S Centre in Sarawak
Operated by Kah Progression Auto Sdn Bhd, the new BYD Miri 3S Centre comprises a 5,838-square-foot showroom with capacity to display five vehicles and a 6,390-square-foot service centre featuring six service bays with capacity to handle up to 35 vehicles a day.
This one-stop centre also features a customer lounge with a discussion, as well as a dedicated vehicle delivery bay and EV charging facilities for BYD sales and service customers to use. Supporting this BYD outlet are 15 employees across both its sales and aftersales operations.
To celebrate this new 3S centre launch, Kah Progression Auto will host an interactive roadshow at Bintang Megamall’s Ground Floor, East Court (Old Wing), from Oct 16 to 18, running daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Third BYD Outlet in Sarawak
Aside from being its largest outlet in the state, the new BYD Miri 3S Centre is also the third BYD authorised outlet to be opened in Sarawak, adding further service capacity to BYD customers in the northern part of the state.
